Total Lunar Eclipse in Toronto on March 15, 2025

Toronto skies were clear for Friday night's Full Lunar Eclipse, which began at 00:30 midnight and ended at 06:25 AM.

The Full Moon during the Eclipse appeared red/orange, rather than blue or white, as the Earth positioned itself between the sun and the moon.

The full lunar eclipse was not visible to the naked eye due to the Earth's shadow blocking the moon. To photograph the lunar eclipse effectively, it is best to use a tripod. This will enable you to lower the shutter speed to 0.3 seconds, as demonstrated in the attached photo.
